We are a small shop and as such can only take on a limited number of commissions. All of our projects are carefully designed and built by hand.

Gaslight is dedicated to producing well designed, high quality, unique signage which unfortunately does not come fast or cheap.

Type of Signage
Exterior signs are typically more expensive due to the need to have additional protective finishes, weather sealing, and water-resistant components.
Commercial signs are subject to CSA inspection and approval (approx. $650) unless otherwise arranged.
These signs are big and heavy, they can be expensive to ship. Let us know if you would like it shipped and we will provide a rough idea of the costs on your estimate.
Most cities will require you to submit a signage permit application before installing new exterior commercial signage. We can assist you in the process as an additional service following the signage design.
Gaslight Electric does provide installation services on large commercial projects. Commercial clients consult with the contractor who is most familiar with their building, and we will work with them to ensure the sign is designed to be safely mounted. It is the clients responsibility to have a licensed electrician preform electrical hookup. Gaslight Electric can arrange the installation with a reputable local building contractor and electrical hookup with a local licensed electrician, at an additional expense.


How much lead time do you need?

4-6 weeks minimum on custom commissions, lead time increases based on current demand. Larger commercial projects may require Months of lead time.

How much does it cost?

We will be happy to produce an estimate based on the details of your project. 

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. An initial deposit of 10% is required to lock in your place in our production schedule, cover site visits, planning, designs and drawings. 
A 40% Deposit is required to produce your sign. 
The remaining 50% is due on delivery. We do not offer terms or extend credit after work is completed.

What type of payment do you accept?

Cash, Cheque, E-Transfer, Bank Transfer
Credit Card payments are subject to 3% processing fee.

Can you visit me or send me drawings?

We would be happy to discuss your project and provide you an estimate. Unfortunately we can not produce artwork or make free site visits prior to the 10% deposit being placed.
